Had no idea what getting a film camera before a trip to Disney World in the early 80's would start! I knew the camera had more modes than Auto - but never even experimented with them! Then life got in the way! It was so much easier to let others record special moments! Travel across our beautiful country was all the encouragement I needed to get a point and shoot digital camera! Took a lot of pictures because I could dump my "what was I looking at?" Even seeing all the beauty and wildlife in Alaska was not enough to push me past point and shoot! Seeing eagles landing on the lake near me finally pushed me to start my DSLR journey. The eagle appearances caused me to research new cameras & lens; take classes; participate in photo workshops; join photo clubs; find people to answer my questions and still I am not sure where this journey will take me! But - oh my - "Oh, the places I go!" What a joyous adventure and a happy obsession!
