James Dugan

James Dugan is a Registered Architect, Vietnam Veteran, and Alumnus of North Carolina State University and New York Institute of Photography. He lives in New Bern, North Carolina.

His interest in photography began when his college roommate sold him a used 35mm camera and taught him how to develop black and white film and photographs.

James currently uses a Nikon D-80, Nikon D-750, and Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2. He processes his images with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and prints with a Canon Pixma Pro 9000.

His photographs cover a wide range of subjects including landscapes, maritime scenes, gardens, and buildings.
