Jeanne Julian

Hello! I shoot mainly landscapes and architecture, but get a thrill when an attempt at a candid "portrait" seems to work. I've appreciated the art of photography ever since being dazzled by the book The Family of Man as a kid. I joined the Coastal Photo Club in 2010 when my husband and I moved North Carolina from New England. I can tell how much I've learned from the CPC by how much I'm dissatisfied with images I shot not so long ago. When traveling I usually rely on my Sony a6000, but I'm also working on getting competent with a Canon 6D. I love the way photography makes you pay attention; I admire the principles in the book The Practice of Contemplative Photography. Here's my web site: http://www.jeannejulian.com/
