 I have lived in Craven County most of my life.  Both my parents were US Marines and growing up; our family lived in the Cherry Point/Havelock area.  I graduated from East Carolina University and came back to Craven County to become a teacher for students with special needs.  After spending 34 years in that career, I retired.  It appears that one trait I inherited from my mother has been a real focal point throughout my life…that trait was been the knack for documenting events. As a teacher, it was a must and oddly enough, my hobbies are photography and genealogy.
